Artedomus - Behind the Curtain

Same narrative. Bigger room. The whole industry invited in.

The Brief

The evening after the VIP product expo, the Behind the Curtain experience opened its doors to 150 guests from across the Australian architecture and design industry. The brief was clear: extend the experience, not reset it.

What We Did

We scaled the sensory world built for the VIP dinner into a full cocktail party format without losing the intention or coherence that made the intimate experience work. The scent story continued through diffusers. The materials from the walkthrough reappeared in the space. The layered sound became a live, collective moment with a DJ carrying the musical narrative built throughout the day. Food appeared in larger, shared formats — evolved versions of the canapés guests had encountered in the expo.

The result was a party that felt like an extension of something, not a standalone event — giving 150 guests a sense of having arrived at the end of a story, even if they hadn't experienced the beginning.

Event concept and creative direction — sensory continuity design — production and venue management — supplier coordination — music and DJ direction — food and beverage programming — guest management — run sheets and on-the-day execution

The Result

150 guests from the architecture and design industry gathered in one of Melbourne's most considered brand environments of the year. Strong social amplification followed — guests sharing the experience across their own channels, extending the reach well beyond the room.

Direct feedback from the team and guests confirmed the event delivered on every level: atmosphere, detail, and the kind of word-of-mouth that only comes from an experience people genuinely want to talk about.
